How does this reservation system work?
For the 2026 filing season, we invite clients to select a THURSDAY (new this year) reservation date and submit their tax documents before or on that date. We will be offering limited reservation spots each week, so we encourage you to book early. Once your reservation is made, simply submit your tax documents by the reservation date (early submissions are welcome), and we’ll prepare your return within two weeks (14 days) of that date. The available reservation dates are as follows:

What if I prefer an in-person appointment?
If you prefer an in-person preparation appointment, we’re happy to offer that option as well this filing season. We would encourage you to make a reservation and call our office to make an in-person appointment for a time within a week before your reservation date.
What if I choose not to make a reservation?
While making a reservation is not required, please note that without one, your tax return will be prepared as time allows, which may mean your return could be extended. A completed engagement letter and written client communication is required to extend your tax returns. All extended returns will be completed before the extension deadline in October, as long as tax documents are received on time.
How do I make a reservation?
You can easily make your reservation online through our website at www.devries.cpa/tax. Alternatively, you can give us a call at 616-257-7950 or email our tax administrator at tax@devries.cpa to secure your spot. Reservations can be made anytime between now and the last available Thursday reservation date, March 19, 2026. We will also send email or text reminders as your reservation date approaches.
